Location

Location is extremely important when owners are deciding where to keep their horse. The location of Langlands Livery Yard is such that it is based conveniently between Larbert, Denny and Stirling in central Scotland. The yard is in a quiet, rural location, well away from main roads yet with excellent access to the major road networks for ease of travelling to competitions etc. The location is ideal for owners staying locally or for those stopping at the yard on their way to/from their place of work. Owners range from those staying very closeby, e.g. Dunipace, to those staying much further afield.

From the yard it is easy to reach all of the major competition centres in central Scotland. With a lorry or trailer the following are easily accessible:

  • Blueridge Equestrian Centre (Falkirk) – 30 minutes
  • Scottish National Equestrian Centre (Linlithgow) – 40 minutes
  • Morris Equestrian Centre (Stewarton) – 1 hour
  • Netherton Equestrian Centre (Perth) – 1 hour
  • Muirmill Equestrian Centre (Dundonald) – 1 hour 15 minutes
  • Rockrose Equestrian Centre (Haddington) – 1 hour 30 minutes

Glenbrae Riding Club is the most local riding club for the yard. Glenbrae Riding Club lessons are held locally in a variety of venues and East Stirlingshire Pony Club rallies are mainly based near Airth which is 10 minutes from the yard with a lorry or trailer.
